By creating a buddy list your members can also be alerted when friends appear online, allowing them to invite the member to instant chat. Private forums can be set up using the 7soft control panel, allowing members to leave messages and take part in discussions with other members. Forums can have a range of different areas that can be organised to give your members separate areas to discuss various topics.

Members may also send private messages to one another, allowing them to communicate in private and away from public areas. When a private message is received by a user an email is sent to their designated email to alert them of the new private message.
